This is to be in compliance with assigned authority levels. The Construction Coordinator will work with the Project Team, EPC Contractor/Sub-Contractors, and Site Personnel ensure safe and reliable execution of project construction. An advanced understanding of heavy industrial construction planning, coordination and execution are essential in this role. 1. Ensure design documents are clear and that construction by the EPC Contractor is in compliance with the approved design drawings. 2. Monitor effectiveness of Contractor’s planning and compliance with the approved schedule. 3. Monitor the Contractors compliance and Project Safety requirements. 4. Identify and manage risk associated with assigned work activities. 5. Ensure that systems, communication and coordination of construction activities are adequate to achieve safe execution of construction activities including protection of personnel, facilities, and equipment. 6. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports as requested by the Construction Manager. 7. Participate in and/or lead construction related meetings as required. 8. Support interface activities and communication between the Contractor’s activities and other Project and Site activities. 9. Support the quality and acceptance process for all construction activities. 10. Support change requests through the Project organization and approved control procedures. 11. Identify and support resolution of any issues which potentially impact Project performance. 12. Escalate concerns, issues and risks to the Construction Manager.
